How the catalog works
We publish links only after they look like jobs.
RemoteJobSignal is an automated discovery and alert layer over public remote-work sources. This page explains what the system checks, what it does not know, and which claims can be independently verified.
Source selection
The catalog starts from the public awesome-remote-job resource list. It includes company career pages, job boards, and aggregators. Inclusion as a monitored source is not the same as inclusion in public job results.
Fetch and freshness
An automated pipeline checks the catalog every six hours. It records fetch status and content changes. A source that cannot be fetched or does not yield acceptable job-shaped links does not contribute to the public job count.
Admission gate
Links must be direct, externally reachable, and shaped like individual job opportunities. Navigation pages, generic homepages, obvious non-job content, and duplicate destination URLs are excluded before search, counts, alerts, or AI preselection.
Original publisher wins
Every result points to its original listing. RemoteJobSignal does not host the complete job description and is not the employer or recruiter. The original page is authoritative for availability, qualifications, location, compensation, and application instructions.
Free versus paid
Search, alerts, email and Telegram delivery, tracking, the public API, and reusable site-wide intelligence are free. Payment is reserved for AI work that uses one user's private context, currently resume-to-job scoring and explanations.
Known limitations
Automated extraction can miss a role, misread a field, or retain a link that expires between refreshes. A listing passing the quality gate is not an endorsement or a promise of employment. Users should verify every opportunity before applying or sharing sensitive data.
